I am interested in the changing status of the English language, the teaching of English at all levels of the Danish educational system, course and programme development and internationalisation.
Over the years, I have contributed to the development of a number of new study programmes. Examples are the development of the BA programme in International Business Communication (the year 2000 version), which introduced new subjects, i.e. Communication, European Studies, American Studies and International Marketing, a programme structure that allowed students to choose one foreign language plus one of these subjects rather than two foreign languages, electives, modules, etc., and the Master’s programme in International Business Communication (the year 2003 version), which included profiles in the new subjects introduced at the undergraduate level.
I have taught a number of different courses at the CBS. The main focus of my teaching activities has been undergraduate and postgraduate courses in English syntax, morphology and related subjects, but when it was offered, I also taught classes in a special course established for exchange students (Denmark and the Danes).
For a number of years, I furthermore coordinated all undergraduate courses in grammar, both mandatory and elective courses.
