Olha Ivashchyshyn

Olha Ivashchyshyn has been working as an English teacher and later as a senior lecturer of the Department of Foreign Languages for Humanities of Lviv Ivan Franko National University since 1991. Her scientific interests are terminology, discourse studies, teaching language with the help of computer technologies. Participated in development of computer programs (TEMPUS – TACIS project) and new methods of teaching English (Lviv – Oregon Partnership). Uses the elements of distance teaching and teaching with the help of computer technologies with students by correspondence. Olha was a visiting professor at the University of Oregon in 2001 and completed an online CALL course in 2002. She is also a member of international TESOL organization and Ukrainian terminology society.
