Svitlana Markelova

Svitlana Markelova has been working at the Department of Foreign Languages since 1989 first as an assistant, фтв since 1996 as фт associate professor of the Department of Foreign Languages for Humanities. Svitlana Markelova visited the USA as a member of the Partnership program between the University of Oregon and Lviv National University. She is a member of TESOL-Ukraine organization and served as a member of the board in 2002. The fields of scientific interests are linquostylistics, discourse analysis, theoretical and methodological problems of Academic Writing. Svitlana Markelova took part in a number of international conferences, she is the author of a more than 30 scientific publications in Ukraine and abroad. She is a co-author of the distance course “Fundamentals of Academic Writing: Writing an Essay.”
