Tetyana Yakhontova

Tetyana Yakhontova is an Associate Professor of English for Specific Purposes at the Ivan Franko National University of L’viv. She is an internationally recognized scholar in the field of English academic writing and genre/discourse analysis, the author of more than 100 papers published in leading national and international journals and volumes. One of her major publications is English Academic Writing for Students and Researchers, the first in Ukraine textbook on genres of academic communication. Tetyana Yakhontova gave presentations at numerous conferences throughout the world and conducted a series of trainings on English research writing for Ukrainian academics. She was awarded a number of grants from international research and educational foundations (e.g.,, the Fulbright Scholar Program, US National Academy of Education, British Council) and had several fellowships in the USA and UK.
