About the event

About the topic This webinar will explore the principles of assessment for and as learning in English-Medium Education (EME) contexts with an Integrated Content and Language (ICL) approach. While the growing influence of Generative AI (GAI) necessitates changes to assessment practices, we will first address the foundational elements of engaging and meaningful assessment in inclusive, outcomes-focused EME environments. Participants will discuss strategies to leverage their expertise as ICLHE professionals to support colleagues in designing and implementing effective assessments for both courses and supervision. Examples provided will primarily draw from STEM disciplines, alongside insights from published work by colleagues. Join us to engage in a collaborative dialogue about the future of assessment in the evolving landscape of EME.
