A successful ICLHE Spain Regional Group

Updated: Jun 26, 2023

Last June 8-9 2023 the IV ICLHE SP RG symposium was held at the Universidad de Zaragoza (Spain), organised by the CLIC@unizar team. Two plenary talks, 17 papers and a roundtable were presented on the topic of the Symposium “Supporting teaching and learning in ICLHE: from policies to students”.

Professors Maria Kuteeva, from Stockholm University, and Tom Morton, from Universidad Autonóma de Madrid, delivered two inspiring plenary lectures. We could learn about ICLHE training programmes being developed at different Spanish universities as well as from the most recent research undertaken on students’ perceptions and needs as well as teachers’ input, strategies and resources employed in the ICLHE classroom. A roundtable brought together a representative of the hosting institution (the Director of the Internationalization Secretariat), a CLIC@unizar trainer, an ICLHE lecturer and an ICLHE student having completed his whole degree in English to discuss the well-received and much needed support in ICLHE teaching and learning.

A big THANK YOU to all participants, attendants as well as to supporting entities (Vicerrectorships of Internationalization and Cooperation, and of Research and Santillana Richmond publishers).
